MARA Holdings has announced its second project to heat a city in Finland using Bitcoin mining.
According to the company, this solution has provided heat to another 67,000 citizens of the country.
The number of Finnish residents who have heating using energy generated from cryptocurrency mining has increased to about 80,000.
In June 2024, MARA initiated a district heating program in the Finnish town of Satakunta. The heat source was its data center.
