Alisa Lanskaya is a mother of five, a woman with a refined sense of style, an entrepreneur, and the founder of an organic children’s clothing brand that reflects care for the future, respect for nature, and a deep understanding of motherhood. We spoke with Alisa about balance, inner strength, self-rediscovery, and the power women find in love — for their children, their work, and life itself.
Alisa, you are a mother of five and an entrepreneur building a conscious children’s clothing brand. What was the moment you realized it was time to start your own project?
— It was actually my children who helped me make that decision. Immersing yourself in motherhood is beautiful and important, but when you feel that inner spark calling you to do more, to step out of routine — you have to listen. The little joys we allow ourselves make us, as women, truly happy. And a happy mother means a happy family.
How do you balance such a large family with running a business? What helps you combine these roles and stay in your energy?
— Balance is all about priorities and planning. My family is a huge help — my older children often step in to help with the younger ones, especially when the nanny is sick or I’m overwhelmed. It’s incredibly touching — they share a cosmic bond. And I’ve learned the importance of delegation. When I feel depleted, I return to what refills me — walks, time with the kids, a short trip, or time alone with music and breathing practices.
You dedicated 10 years to your home and family. What inspired you to turn back toward yourself and start pursuing your own dreams again?
— I wanted to prove to myself that I could be more than just a mom or a wife. I was inspired by other women — strong, self-realized. Family is a core value, but it’s easy to lose yourself in it. Realizing your own dreams brings a deep sense of pride and joy. It fuels you from within.

Tell us more about your brand. Why did you choose organic children’s clothing, and what message do you want to send to parents?
— Because it’s so relevant today. Many children struggle with allergies, dermatitis, and sensitive skin — and organic fabrics can truly help. Plus, I care about the environment. Not everyone realizes the toll conventional cotton production takes: enormous water usage, soil damage from fertilizers. Organic farming addresses those issues — preserving water and protecting soil microbiomes.
How has your experience as a mother influenced your brand’s philosophy and style?
— I’ve learned that clothing must be comfortable — for both moms and babies. My brand is built on minimalism, smart cuts, and easy-to-combine pieces. But above all, it’s rooted in a philosophy of healthy living and mindful choices from the very beginning of life.
What would you say to other women who feel hesitant to start something of their own — especially those with small children?
— Everything comes when the time is right. The key is to listen to yourself. Not from a place of pressure or “I must prove myself,” but through love — love for yourself, your work, your family. Young children are a powerful source of energy. That’s often when women have their biggest inner breakthroughs — and great ideas are born.
You’ve experienced challenges — the early loss of your parents, divorce, rethinking your identity. What gave you strength?
— My children. Their love, their presence — I couldn’t give up. Looking at them, I knew how deeply they needed me. Losing your parents makes you grow up in a different way. And divorce, for me, was the beginning of a new life. Small victories during difficult times build your inner foundation.
You were raised around strong, wise, inspiring people. What values are you passing on to your children?
— Family, tradition, remembrance of loved ones, and gratitude. I try to teach them to see beauty, to focus on what really matters — spiritual depth, inner peace. When something is rooted in love, it lasts.

How did moving to Dubai influence your mindset, circle, and brand development?
— Dubai was a turning point. It carries such a powerful energy of action — people here are driven and full of ideas. That helps you push forward without fear, think bigger, and release your own limitations. It was here that I truly believed in my vision and found the right environment to support it.
What is the core message you hope to share with women around the world through your journey?
— That we are incredibly powerful, even when we feel fragile. Our strength lies in sensitivity, in love, in our ability to create and inspire. The most important thing is not to forget about yourself. Everything starts with the inner belief: I can. And when you move through gentleness and acceptance — not struggle — everything falls into place.

What does Alisa Lanskaya dream about today, and what inspires you daily?
— I dream that my brand will help families feel more cared for, safe, and nurtured. That it becomes part of honest, loving stories. And as always, my biggest inspiration is my children — their eyes, their questions, their love. They are the reason I want to keep moving forward and make the world a little kinder.
ELLEDGY: Alisa, thank you for this heartfelt and inspiring conversation. Your story is a guiding light for women striving not to lose themselves in the everyday — but to embrace who they are and create beauty from within.
