American musician Oliver Tree (Oliver Tree Nickell) became one of the six victims of a plane crash that occurred on the morning of June 14 in Rio de Janeiro. Information about his death was confirmed by the civil police of the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro.
According to preliminary data from the fire department, two helicopters collided in the air over the Recreio dos Bandeirantes district, after which they fell into a parking lot with parked electric cars on Avenida das Américas. One of the aircraft had five people on board, while the other was flying only the pilot. All of them died.

Police have released the names of the victims. Among them: passengers Oliver Tree (Oliver Tree Nickell), Lucas Viñale, Gaspar Prim, Lucas Britu Chavez, and two pilots, Alexandre Souza and Charles Marcillac. Among the dead was Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, known by his stage name Gaspi. His social media following numbered around 7.5 million.
Oliver Tree was in Brazil as part of a world tour. He performed in São Paulo on June 6, and the next leg of his tour was to begin in Europe with a concert in Lisbon on July 13.
