The war between American actress Blake Lively and the director and actor of the movie It Ends With Us, Justin Baldoni, has flared up with renewed vigor. Baldoni launched a new offensive after the two celebrities filed counter-suits with personal complaints and accusations. This time, the 40-year-old director is suing the couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, demanding $400 million from the star couple, Variety reports.
In his 179-page statement, Baldoni accuses the couple of extortion and invasion of privacy and attempts to “destroy” him with false accusations of harassment.
Justin claims that Lively, 37, “stole” his movie, changed scenes in violation of his rights as a director, and demanded full control over the choice of clothes for her character. The actress also allegedly made jokes about Baldoni’s appearance, advising him to have a rhinoplasty. She used her husband’s influence to change the script.
In addition, the plaintiff accuses Blake and her husband of using their celebrity status to defame and destroy him.
Two of Baldoni’s spokespersons also supported him, saying that Lively and her team had initiated a “smear campaign” in the media to gain undeserved public sympathy and blame the director for their poor decisions regarding the film’s promotion.
