The popularity of cosmetic procedures is undeniable, and people openly share their results without hesitation, unlike with plastic surgeries. Can you tell us at what age one should turn to a cosmetologist if there are no signs of aging yet and the skin looks good?

I believe you can consult a cosmetologist at any age; it’s like therapy that supports you to look even better. Perfection doesn’t exist, and imperfections are beautiful too. So, ladies, if you want to treat yourself to a procedure for facial moisturization or to make your skin glow, I’m always ready to help.

Are there people for whom cosmetic sessions are contraindicated?

Certainly, there are. If we take injectable cosmetology as an example, contraindications for this procedure include:

  • Presence of viral, infectious, or autoimmune diseases;
  • Oncological diseases;
  • Blood clotting disorders;
  • Various skin conditions in the acute stage;
  • Pregnancy and lactation.

Given your international experience, do Ukrainian women or European women pay more attention to their appearance?

I can confidently say, with about 99.9% certainty, that it’s Ukrainian women. Here, girls are literally obsessed with beauty and know exactly how to appreciate it. Ukrainian girls love paying attention to their appearance and frequently undergo beauty injections, peels, masks, and facial massages.

What’s the comparative cost of such procedures in Ukraine and Europe, and what does it depend on?

In Ukraine, the cost of these procedures is generally lower. Let’s make a comparison. Beauty injections are priced at $300, peels at $100, masks at $50, and facial massage at $40.

Here’s a breakdown of the procedures I perform:

  • Lip contouring: $200 to $300
  • Botox therapy: $100 to $200
  • Lipolysis: $100 to $200
  • Biorevitalization: $150 to $250
  • Mesotherapy: $150 to $250

The best products for lip contouring that I often use in practice are Stylage Vivacy (France) and Juvederm from the French company ALLERGAN.

In Europe, prices are significantly higher, typically 3-4 times more. Average prices for lip injections can vary based on factors such as the type of filler used, the doctor’s experience, the clinic’s location, and overall market demand. In Europe, prices can range from a few hundred to over a thousand euros.

How long does the effect of the procedure last?

  • Lip contouring is a rejuvenation and facial correction procedure involving subcutaneous and deep injections of natural gel-like preparations (fillers) based on hyaluronic acid. The latter serves as a natural component of tissues, ensuring safe smoothing of folds and wrinkles, volumetrically filling the desired areas.

The effect of lip contouring with natural fillers typically lasts from 6 months to 1.5 years on average. This duration depends on the individual characteristics of the patient. Some people experience a quicker absorption of fillers, while others see a slower process.

  • Botulinum therapy is an injection method for smoothing wrinkles using botulinum toxins. Botulinum toxin is a type A neurotoxin that blocks nerve-muscle transmission. It acts locally and induces muscle relaxation. It specifically targets the muscle into which the drug is injected. Botulinum therapy is most commonly used to smooth wrinkles on the forehead, in the glabellar area, and around the eyes.

The effect of botulinum therapy becomes noticeable within 7-14 days after the procedure and lasts up to 6 months, typically around 3-4 months.

Fatty deposits on the face can appear even in slim individuals. While body shapes can be altered through diet and fitness, achieving facial fat loss through these methods is nearly impossible. That’s why lipolytics are becoming increasingly popular. The effect of their application is similar to the results of certain plastic surgeries, but the procedure itself is less invasive and safer.

  • Lipolytics are medications that facilitate the breakdown of fat cells and the elimination of breakdown products from the body through the lymphatic system and blood. Most of these medications are produced based on biologically active components of medicinal plants. They are generally well-tolerated and allow achieving the desired result in several sessions.

The effect of lipolytics (reducing fat deposits by 25-35%) builds up within 3 weeks, and the treatment course typically ranges from 2 to 5 sessions with a break of 3-4 weeks between each. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can result in a lifelong effect without the need for additional correction.

  • Biorevitalization is the targeted intradermal injection of special formulations based on hyaluronic acid. This substance has the ability to retain water in the skin, providing hydration and elasticity.

From biorevitalization: the visible effect becomes apparent almost immediately. It will be noticeable after just 1-2 sessions. Long-lasting effect. The procedure allows you to forget about wrinkles and sagging dry skin for a long time. The result lasts up to six months, and under the right conditions, the skin remains elastic and fresh for several years.

  • Mesotherapy is a modern injection technique for rejuvenation. The essence of mesotherapy lies in the intradermal and subcutaneous injection of vitamins, trace elements, and other substances into the area being treated by the physician or remotely from it.

From mesotherapy:

The effect after mesotherapy lasts for a long time. The portion of beneficial substances that reaches under the skin remains there, and the doses of active ingredients last for about a year and a half.

  • The Full Face procedure is a concept aimed at eliminating skin defects and facial irregularities that contribute to a tired and worn-out appearance. The program effectively addresses textural unevenness of the skin, deficiency in subcutaneous fat volume, tissue sagging, and deepening of skin folds.

In the process of combined rejuvenation through the Full Face method, each procedure complements the others, resulting in a maximum lift and tissue revitalization. The effect is immediately noticeable, continues to improve over 2-3 months, and typically lasts for an average of 2-3 years.

  • Ultrasound smas lifting

The core idea of the procedure involves targeted application of focused ultrasound pulses to the deep layers of the skin, including the SMAS layer, also known as the musculo-aponeurotic system. Collagen and elastin fibers are located within the SMAS layer. Ultrasound exposure to these fibers leads to their heating and contraction, promoting the firming and lifting of the SMAS layer.

As a result, an instant reduction in tissue volume is achieved in the chin and cheek areas, addressing sagging and wrinkles. Additionally, active collagen synthesis occurs in the skin over the next 2-3 months after the procedure, ultimately enhancing elasticity and reducing the prominence of facial wrinkles.

  • Peeling is a procedure for removing the upper layer of dead skin cells. The process targets the layers of the epidermis, eliminating the top layer of the dermis. It is a skin exfoliation method that accelerates skin regeneration. Peeling removes blackheads, enhances facial complexion, and promotes skin health. Essentially, peeling allows improving the condition of facial skin without the intervention of a plastic surgeon by employing various exfoliation methods.

The effects of the procedure are immediately noticeable.

Regular care helps maintain skin health, prevents premature aging, and improves mood and well-being. Taking care of oneself is not just about beauty but also about self-love.
