Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Eminem are the winners of the American Music Awards

The American Music Awards 2025 took place in Las Vegas on May 26. Billie Eilish was the absolute winner: the singer received seven nominations, including Artist of the Year.

Eilish was also recognized as the Best Pop Female Artist and Best Touring Artist; her album Hit Me Hard and Soft was named Album of the Year and Best Pop Album, and her song Birds of a Feather was named Song of the Year and Best Pop Song. However, the singer did not even attend the ceremony because she was busy. She is on tour, with a concert in Cologne on May 29.

Beyoncé won two awards: she was named “Best Country Female Artist,” and her album “Cowboy Carter” was named “Best Country Album.”

Eminem had the same number of wins: the rapper was named Best Hip Hop Artist, and his album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) was named Best Hip Hop Album. Weekend also took two awards, as the best male R&B artist and as the author of the best R&B album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. SZA won in the female R&B category, and her “Saturn” was named the best R&B song.

Lady Gaga won three nominations – Best Dance/Electronic Artist, Collaboration of the Year, and Best Music Video. The latter two awards were presented to her for her duet with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile.”

Mars also won three statuettes: in addition to two for “Die With a Smile,” he was honored as the best male R&B artist. Twenty One Pilots won Best Rock Artist and Best Rock Album for “Clancy”. The title of the best rock song was The Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park.

Gracie Abrams was recognized as the best new artist, beating Chappelle Ron and Benson Boone. The main hit of social networks was “Anxiety” by Doechii, and Megan Thee Stallion was named the best rap artist.
