American singer Bruno Mars has announced that he has completed work on a new album. This will be his first solo full-length release in nearly a decade, following the release of his 2016 album “24K Magic.”
“My album is done,” the artist wrote.
Despite the lack of solo albums over the past decade, Mars has remained active in the music industry. In 2021, he released a joint album with Anderson.Paak as part of the duo “Silk Sonic.” The songs “Leave the Door Open” and “Smokin Out the Window” became hits, and in 2022, the project received four Grammy Awards.
The singer has also had success with collaborations in recent years. The duet “Die with a Smile” with Lady Gaga topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group in 2025. The composition “APT.”, recorded with Rosé, rose to third place on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for four Grammys at the 2026 ceremony. Another joint track – “Fat, Juicy & Wet with Sexyy Red” – took 17th place on the Hot 100 and entered the top 5 of the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
The album “24K Magic”, released in 2016, brought Mars several hits, including the title track, “That’s What I Like”, “Versace on the Floor”, and “Finesse”.
The album’s premiere is scheduled for February 27.
