The 78th Cannes Film Festival organizers, which will take place from May 13 to 24, have banned guests from appearing on the red carpet in nude outfits.
This decision was made because, in recent years, shocking appearances of stars in provocative images have attracted much more attention than the feature films screened at the festival.
Therefore, the organizers have introduced new rules to stop the trend of inappropriate frankness. The teams that will welcome the guests will have the right to prevent stars who violate the new rule from entering the red carpet.
At the same time, the organizers have introduced a conservative dress code: celebrities should wear suits, tuxedos, and floor-length evening dresses to attend the festival. Classic little black dresses, cocktail dresses, pantsuits, and tops are also allowed.
