Disappointing news for fans of the TV series “And Just Like That” — the current third season of the spin-off of the legendary “Sex and the City” will be the final. The story of Carrie Bradshaw and her friends is coming to an end, Variety reports, citing a statement from showrunner, screenwriter, and director Michael Patrick King, which he posted on his social networks.

Sarah Jessica Parker herself has already said an emotional goodbye to her character. On Instagram, she posted a touching video dedicated to Carrie Bradshaw, whom the actress embodied on the screens for almost 30 years.
The history of the cult series began in 1998. Throughout six seasons and two feature films, it has gained millions of fans. In its sequel, the spin-off “And Just Like That,” the characters of Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are reunited, in addition to Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha.
The last episode of the series will be released on August 14.
