Cult producer and composer Quincy Jones dies

Legendary producer and composer Quincy Jones has passed away at the age of 92. According to The Guardian, Jones died last night at his home in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, surrounded by his family.

During his nearly 70-year career, Jones released 27 studio albums, composed 80 movie soundtracks, and won 27 Grammy Awards. The producer has worked with Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, and other legendary artists.

Quincy also produced Michael Jackson’s iconic album Thriller, which became the best-selling album in the music industry’s history.
