George Clooney fell ill during the Venice Film Festival, but showed up for his premiere

Hollywood actor George Clooney was forced to withdraw from several events at the Venice Film Festival due to a “serious sinus infection.” The actor did not attend the press conference for his new film, “Jay Kelly,” but he did attend the world premiere of the movie in the evening.

In the film, Clooney plays the famous actor Jay Kelly, who, together with his devoted manager (played by Adam Sandler), goes on a journey across Europe in search of himself.

Baumbach admitted that he wrote the script specifically for the Ocean’s star: “It was important to me that the audience already had their own history with George, just as the characters in the film have a history with Jay.”

Adam Sandler appeared on the red carpet with his entire family. At the press conference, the actor stated that he frequently tries to bring his wife and daughters with him on work trips. In “Jay Kelly,” 51-year-old Jackie, 19-year-old Sadie, and 17-year-old Sunny also have small roles.
