Google has unveiled Gemini Spark. This new cloud-based AI service performs complex workflows automatically without continuous user intervention. This service integrates seamlessly with Workspace tools such as Gmail, Docs, and Slides, aiming to enhance operational efficiency through automation. Notably, Gemini Spark analyzes credit card statements to identify hidden subscriptions, automatically tracks important emails and deadlines, generates meeting notes, and prepares documents and initial project drafts. This technology signifies a shift from AI assistants that merely respond to queries to AI agents capable of executing multi-step tasks when provided access to necessary services and user data. The beta version of Gemini Spark is slated for release next week. It will be available exclusively to AI Ultra plan subscribers in the US for a $100 monthly subscription fee. Concurrently, Google has reduced the cost of its premium AI Ultra plan from $250 to $200 per month.
