In this exclusive interview with ELLEDGY Magazine, she shares the mindset behind her success, her approach to fashion and luxury, and why authenticity remains at the heart of everything she does.
You have built an international career across fashion, television, and luxury lifestyle. Looking back, what has been the defining moment of your journey?
I don’t believe there was one defining moment. Success is built through many small moments that, over time, become just as powerful as the big milestones.
For me, everything began with having a clear vision of the life I wanted to create. I wasn’t chasing a particular title or job—I was pursuing a lifestyle that gave me freedom: the freedom to travel, to meet inspiring people, and to be surrounded by beautiful environments that motivated me.
Long before I received invitations, I attended the Cannes Film Festival and Paris Fashion Week simply because I wanted to immerse myself in that world. I loved the atmosphere, the creativity, and the energy. As my television career developed, opportunities naturally followed. People began to recognize my work, invitations arrived, and one connection led to another.
One lesson I’ve learned is that your network truly becomes your net worth. Surround yourself with people who inspire you and place yourself in the environments where you ultimately want to belong. Sometimes simply showing up is the first step toward creating the future you envision.

What advice would you give to young women who dream of building an international career in fashion, media, or entrepreneurship?
The most important advice is to build a career around something you genuinely love. If you would happily do it even without being paid, then success becomes far more fulfilling because your work never truly feels like work.
Today’s generation has an incredible advantage that simply didn’t exist when I started my career: social media. It has completely transformed the way people build businesses and personal brands.
For the first time, you don’t necessarily need a middleman to validate your talent or introduce you to an audience. You have direct access to people around the world, giving everyone the opportunity to create meaningful connections and build a global presence.
My advice is simple: learn how to use social media strategically, authentically, and professionally. Used wisely, it can become one of the most powerful business tools available.
Personal style has become part of your signature. How would you describe your fashion philosophy, and what inspires your wardrobe choices?
I always joke that I only have two wardrobes: couture and pajamas.
When I’m attending international events, I absolutely love dramatic couture gowns, bold silhouettes, and glamorous fashion—even if those dresses aren’t always the most comfortable.
But when I’m off duty, comfort becomes my priority. You’ll usually find me wearing oversized sweaters, relaxed pieces, and cozy clothes. I often laugh and call it my “homeless couture.”
There isn’t much in between for me. I embrace both extremes because fashion should reflect your mood, your lifestyle, and how you genuinely feel in the moment.

Throughout your career, you’ve collaborated with many luxury brands. What qualities make you decide to work with a particular brand today?
Today, I care far more about the people behind a brand than the logo itself.
As I’ve grown personally, I’ve become increasingly conscious about values, ethics, sustainability, and integrity.
I admire brands that genuinely care about people, animals, and the environment, rather than simply creating beautiful marketing campaigns.
A famous name alone is no longer enough. Luxury, for me, is about authenticity and shared values.
The partnerships I choose today are based on trust and alignment. I enjoy working with brands whose vision reflects my own beliefs and whose founders genuinely stand for something meaningful.
Social media has transformed the way public figures connect with audiences. How do you stay authentic while maintaining such a polished public image?
I see social media as a powerful professional tool rather than a place to share every aspect of my private life.
I enjoy posting about the things I’m passionate about—fashion, travel, wellness, beauty, and inspiring experiences—but I consciously choose to keep much of my personal life private. Relationships, family, and certain moments belong to me, not necessarily to the internet.
Everyone approaches social media differently, and I truly admire people who openly share every chapter of their lives. For me, however, maintaining healthy boundaries is an important part of protecting my peace.
Authenticity doesn’t require sharing everything. Sometimes it means knowing which parts of your life are meant to remain your own while still creating meaningful and genuine connections with your audience.

Philanthropy has always been an important part of your life. Why is giving back so meaningful to you, and which causes are closest to your heart?
I believe philanthropy begins long before making large donations or supporting international organizations. True generosity starts with the small acts of kindness we choose every day.
If you see someone struggling, help them. If you have the opportunity to support a person, an animal, a friend, or even a stranger, do it. Sometimes sharing your knowledge, introducing two people, or simply being present for someone can change a life.
For me, giving back is not an occasional event—it is a way of living.
I also believe that direct impact is incredibly important. While many charitable organizations do remarkable work, I find the greatest fulfillment in knowing exactly where my help is going and seeing the difference it makes. There is something profoundly meaningful about changing even one person’s life. As the saying goes, if you save one life, you save an entire universe.
Kindness has a remarkable way of returning to us, often in ways we never expect. The more good we put into the world, the more meaningful our own journey becomes.
The world often sees the glamour, but not the challenges. What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned behind the scenes of success?
Like everyone else, I’ve experienced difficult moments, uncertainty, and setbacks. Success doesn’t mean living without challenges—it means learning how to grow through them.
I’ve come to believe that our hardest moments often become our greatest opportunities. When everything feels like it’s falling apart, life is usually creating space for something new. Those moments force us to let go of habits, beliefs, and situations that no longer serve us.
Every obstacle carries a lesson. It’s our perspective that determines whether we see it as an ending or as the beginning of something greater.
Pressure creates transformation. Just as diamonds are formed under immense pressure, personal growth often comes from the moments that test us the most. Success isn’t about avoiding adversity—it’s about overcoming it with resilience and grace.
As someone who travels constantly, what destinations inspire you the most, and where do you always feel at home?
Every destination has something unique to teach us.
I love discovering new cultures, tasting local cuisine, hearing different languages, meeting people from around the world, and experiencing places through all of the senses. Travel constantly reminds me how diverse, beautiful, and inspiring our world truly is.
For me, travel is the greatest education and the ultimate luxury.
The freedom to go wherever I want, whenever I want, is one of my personal definitions of success.
People often ask where I feel most at home. My answer is simple: wherever my suitcase is. Home isn’t a place—it’s a feeling I carry with me wherever life takes me.

Wellness has become an important part of your lifestyle. What are your daily beauty and wellness rituals, and what are the non-negotiable habits that help you look and feel your best?
Wellness is one of the most important pillars of my life. In many ways, I believe it represents the future—not only for individuals but for society as a whole.
Luxury is wonderful, but true wealth is health. Beautiful hotels, designer fashion, and extraordinary experiences are enjoyable, yet nothing compares to feeling energetic, healthy, and fully alive.
I’m incredibly passionate about longevity, biotechnology, and science-backed wellness innovations. I’m currently working on several exciting projects in this field that I’m looking forward to sharing in the near future because I believe they have the potential to positively impact people’s lives on a global scale.
On a daily basis, consistency is everything. I follow a personalized vitamin protocol based on medical testing, prioritize quality sleep, eat clean, whole foods, stay physically active, and avoid processed foods and excessive sugar whenever possible.
Whenever my schedule allows, I incorporate walking, movement, and sauna into my routine. Wellness doesn’t have to be expensive—it simply requires consistency, awareness, and balance.
I’ve noticed that whenever I neglect these habits, I immediately feel the difference, particularly in my energy levels and sleep quality. That’s why taking care of my health is completely non-negotiable.
Looking ahead, what are your biggest goals and dreams for the future? Are there any exciting projects or personal milestones you’re especially looking forward to sharing with the world?
I feel incredibly grateful for the life I’ve built, and my greatest goal is simply to continue growing—both personally and professionally.
There are several exciting projects on the horizon, particularly in the wellness and longevity space, that I’m deeply passionate about. I believe they have the potential to make a genuine difference in people’s lives, and I can’t wait to share more when the time is right.
Beyond specific projects, my greatest ambition is to continue evolving, embracing new opportunities, and remaining adaptable. Life can change unexpectedly, and I’ve learned that flexibility is one of our greatest strengths.
Rather than trying to control every outcome, I prefer to stay open to where life leads me while continuing to pursue meaningful work, surround myself with inspiring people, and create a positive impact wherever I can.
As our conversation comes to an end, one thing becomes unmistakably clear: Hofit Golan’s journey is about far more than glamour or red carpets. It is a story of vision, resilience, authenticity, and the courage to create life on her own terms.
Whether speaking about fashion, wellness, philanthropy, or personal growth, she reminds us that true luxury is not measured by what we own, but by the freedom to live with purpose, passion, and intention.
