US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that if he wins the election, he will create a government efficiency commission headed by billionaire Elon Musk.

This is reported by Reuters.

The idea of creating such a commission was voiced by Musk himself a few weeks ago. It is supposed to conduct a full financial audit of American agencies – to study how agencies spend money and eliminate “unreasonable” expenses. Trump says he will make the US the “world capital of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin.”

Musk has previously offered his candidacy for a position in Trump’s administration if he is re-elected president.
