One of the wealthiest people on the planet, Jeff Bezos, who ranks third in the world’s richest list, has decided to legalize his relationship with TV presenter Lauren Sanchez, taking into account his feelings and his own financial security. According to the Daily Mail, citing sources, Bezos has hired a team of lawyers to draw up a prenuptial agreement.
The main purpose of the agreement is to protect the multi-billion dollar assets that the businessman owned before his relationship with Sanchez began and to exclude the possibility of joint ownership of them during the marriage.
Family law expert Alphonse Provincano explained to Hello! magazine that the document would contain a clear list of all Bezos’ business assets and property interests, with the proviso that they would remain his personal property. According to him, preparing such a contract is a complex and lengthy process, especially in the case of people with extremely high incomes.
