“Ketamine Queen” Involved in Matthew Perry’s Death Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

27 doses of ketamine: new circumstances of Matthew Perry's death revealed

A drug dealer involved in the death of actor Matthew Perry has been sentenced in the United States. The woman known as the “Ketamine Queen” has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for illegally distributing the drug.

This is Jaswin Sangha, a 42-year-old dealer who pleaded guilty last year to five federal charges in a case related to the actor’s death. These include drug distribution and maintaining premises for their sale, and selling a substance that caused death.

The investigation found that in October 2023, Sangha, together with an accomplice, sold Perry 51 vials of ketamine. The drug was given to the actor’s personal assistant, who gave him at least three injections. This is what, according to the case file, led to his death.

On October 28, 2023, the actor was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home. On December 15, a medical examiner determined the cause of death to be acute ketamine intoxication. Additional factors included buprenorphine, drowning, and coronary artery disease.

Other defendants are also in the case. Sangha’s accomplice and Perry’s personal assistant have pleaded guilty to drug charges and are awaiting sentencing.

Two other men who sold ketamine to the actor have already been convicted. Salvador Plasencia pleaded guilty to four counts of distribution and is serving a 2.5-year prison sentence. Marc Chavez, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute ketamine, received three years of probation.
