After a successful directorial debut with the biographical drama The Chronology of Water, which was released in limited North American release last December, Kristen Stewart admitted that she would not mind returning to the story that made her a global star. The actress has announced her readiness to make a full-length remake of the cult vampire saga “Twilight”.
According to Stewart, she is determined and ready to once again immerse herself in the world of Bella and Edward – ideally with a big budget and active fan support.
Recently Robert Pattinson has also recently expressed his desire to play Edward Cullen again, such a development no longer seems fantastic.
However, in the near future, a remake should not be expected: Netflix is already expanding the “Twilight” universe, working on an animated series based on the saga. However, now the producers know that Kristen Stewart is ready to lead the project if the opportunity arises.
