In the US state of Nevada, the world-famous Burning Man 2024 contemporary art festival, which traditionally takes place in the Black Rock Desert, featured a performance by Ukrainian fighter DJ Tapolsky. He performed a powerful set near the I’m Fine installation created by artist Oleksiy Say and Ukrainian Witness founder Vitaliy Deinega. These capital letters reflect the consequences of armed aggression.
DJ Tapolsky integrated recordings of voices — his mother, brothers, and friends — into his performance, which became a musical manifesto of resilience. They answered the questions, “How are you?” and “What are your dreams?”
