Netflix has introduced a new interface

Netflix will select content according to the viewer's mood

Netflix has updated its interface, calling it simpler, more convenient, and more intuitive than the previous one. Users will see it in the coming weeks and months.

This is stated in a press release.

Here are the key changes that users can expect:

  • Easier content selection. All vital information about movies and TV shows will now be more visible. For example, the note “Emmy Award Winner” or “No. 1 among series”.
  • More visible labels. Quick links “Search” and “My List” will be moved to the top of the page (they were hidden on the left).
  • Adaptive recommendations. The home page will have recommendations that better match the user’s mood and interests at a particular moment.
  • Updated design. The new interface is called “clean and modern.”

Updates are also planned for Netflix on phones and tablets. A search function on iOS using generative AI is being tested, allowing you to search for content by words such as “I want something fun and exciting.” The company will start testing a vertical feed of clips from movies and TV shows in the coming weeks.
