Netflix has used generative AI in nearly 300 of its projects, the company announced in its second-quarter earnings report.
According to Netflix, generative AI technologies have been used in about 300 movies and TV shows this year at various stages of production, from concept and pre-visualization to post-production and release.
The company cited the Indian sports thriller “Glory,” the Brazilian soccer miniseries “Brasil 70: The Saga of the Third Championship,” and the American Revolutionary War documentary series “The American Experiment” as examples.
Netflix said AI helped create “incredibly complex scenes,” including increasing the number of people in mass scenes and improving battle scenes.
