Ahead of the anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest, which celebrates its 70th anniversary next year, the organizers have unveiled a revamped logo. The main element of the new design remains the heart, which this time has a three-dimensional appearance and consists of 70 layers, each symbolizing a year in the history of the project.
The new visual style was created in collaboration with the British studio PALS, which also developed the design for the 2023 contest in Liverpool.
Among the key changes is the emphasis on the words “Song Contest,” which are now almost equal in size to the word “Eurovision.” The traditional handwritten font style has been retained.
According to contest director Martin Green, the updated visual style is intended to make the brand more modern and recognizable in the digital environment, as well as to unite all European Broadcasting Union (EBU) projects under a single visual approach.
The new logo will be officially used for the first time at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Austria in 2026. It will also appear at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and other related events.
