Leading Spanish actress and Oscar winner Penelope Cruz will receive a lifetime achievement award at the Toronto Film Festival in Canada. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Cruz will receive the TIFF Tribute Awards for outstanding achievements and contributions to cinema at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival.
It is noted that the Spanish actress will also present two of her films in Toronto: the Spanish dramatic epic film “Black Bullet” and the thriller “The Bunker” by film director Florian Zeller, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival (France).
It is noted that American director and screenwriter Shane Gayder, French actress Isabelle Huppert, English actress Rosalind Eleazar, and famous South Korean film director and screenwriter Lee Chan-dong will also be honored at the film festival.
The 51st Toronto International Film Festival will run from September 10 to 20.
