Shakira decided to become an entrepreneur. The 48-year-old singer announced the launch of her own hair care brand, Isima.
The line includes eight products: shampoos, serums, masks, and conditioners. They were developed by a team of experts led by research director Anthony Potin, who previously worked at L’oréal.
Cosmetics will target different hair types, but special emphasis will be placed on the Latin American market.
According to the singer, the lack of appropriate products for her hair prompted her to create the brand.
The products will be available for purchase in June and in Ulta Beauty stores in the United States in July. Prices range from 3 32 to 42. Isima’s first-year profit is expected to be around 2 20-30 million.
