Sting's daughter got married in Italy

Fuchsia Kate Sumner, the daughter of legendary musician Sting and actress Frances Tomelty, has officially gotten married. Her chosen one is Max Wright, the creative director. The wedding was celebrated over three days in the Italian city of Noto, Sicily. The event was attended by family members, including the bride’s parents, her brothers and sisters, as well as representatives from the creative elite, such as actors, directors, and musicians. Fuchia, who works as a director, called this weekend “the happiest days of her life” in her blog — and numerous photos from the celebration confirm this.

The wedding celebrations began on Friday, July 11, with a party featuring live music performed by an Italian orchestra, refreshments, and a theatrical performance of Una Serenata! at the city theater. For this evening, Kate chose an elegant white lace dress from Maison Valentino with a high collar and open back. The groom preferred warm tones — he wore a terracotta shirt and burgundy pants.

The main ceremony took place the next day. Kate appeared at the altar in a luxurious dress with open shoulders and embroidered initials. Max wore a light gray suit.

Among the guests were DJ Mia Moretti, director Charlotte Colbert, actor Elliot Sumner with his partner, and the mayor of Noto, who personally congratulated Sting’s family, presented the musician with a book about the city, and expressed his gratitude for choosing Sicily for such an event.

Kate is one of Sting’s six children. He has two children from his first marriage to Francis Tomelty and four from his current wife Trudie Styler, with whom the musician has been together since 1992.
