“The Sinners” won big at the 2026 Actor Awards, winning the award for best ensemble cast in a film, with Michael B. Jordan taking home the award for best actor in a leading role. Among television projects, The Studio and Pitt won the most awards.
Jessie Buckley won best actress for her role in Hamnet, where she played a grieving mother. Supporting actress winners were Sean Penn (“One Battle After Another”) and Amy Madigan (“Guns”).
The director of The Sinners, Ryan Coogler, became the first director in the history of the awards to win the award for best ensemble cast twice.
Among the television projects, “Studio” received the most awards – the series won three statuettes, including for best ensemble in a comedy series. Seth Rogen won in the category of best actor in a comedy. Catherine O’Hara was awarded posthumously as best actress in a comedy series.
