The grand finale of the 72nd Miss World 2025 international beauty pageant took place in the Indian city of Hyderabad. This year, a record number of contestants competed for the crown—108 beauties from different countries.

Opal Suchate Chuangsi, a student at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at Thammasat University in Thailand, won the Miss World 2025 title. She is also a model, plays the ukulele, studies psychology and anthropology, and is fluent in Thai, English, and Chinese.
The crown, decorated with precious stones, was handed over to her by last year’s winner, Kristina Pyshkova, from the Czech Republic. Ethiopia’s Hasset Derege Admassu won second place in the Miss World contest, and Maja Klaida from Poland won third place.
Miss World is considered the oldest international beauty contest. It was first held in the United Kingdom in 1951.
