John Tinniswood, the world’s oldest man, has died at the age of 112 in the British city of Southport, Merseyside. This was reported by the Guinness Book of Records concerning a statement by the man’s family.
Tinniswood died on November 25 in a nursing home in Southport.
His family said that the last day of the record holder “was full of music and love.”
John Tinniswood was born on August 26, 1912 in Liverpool. There, he met his wife Blodwen, with whom he lived for 44 years until she died in 1986.
In April of this year, 111-year-old John Tinniswood was recognized as the oldest man in the world after the death of 114-year-old Juan Vincente Perez Mora from Venezuela.
The record holder is survived by a daughter, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
