Actress Monica Bellucci and director Tim Burton are no longer together. This is reported by the Italian publication ANSA. The stars announced their decision publicly, sending a statement to the AFP news agency.
“We have decided to part ways with great respect and mutual sympathy,” the former couple was quoted as saying by journalists.
Bellucci and Burton dated for two years. They first started talking about their romance in March 2023 after the French newspaper Paris Match published a photo of the celebrities on the cover. At the end of June, the actress gave a major interview to Elle France magazine, in which she confirmed that she was in a relationship with the director. The actress publicly declared her love for him.
Before her affair with Burton, Bellucci was married twice – to photographer Claudio Carlos Basso and actor Vincent Cassel. The director was in a relationship with dancer and model Lisa Marie for 13 years, and later lived for the same amount of time with actress Helena Bonham Carter.
Monica has two children from Kassel: 21-year-old Deva and 15-year-old Leonie. The couple was married for almost 14 years, and in 2013, they divorced without scandals or public statements. The star never prevented her daughters from communicating with their father.
