Tom Holland Could Earn at Least $100 Million for Spider-Man: Brand New Day

New Spider-Man takes $927 million, second-highest opening ever

British actor Tom Holland could earn at least $100 million for his starring role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which has, in less than a month, become one of the highest-grossing projects in film history.

According to The Wrap, which cites sources familiar with the terms of the actor’s contract, Holland received a guaranteed fee of $20 million. This is about twice as much as he earned, according to media reports, for Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2021.

However, the actor could earn a much larger amount through bonuses tied to box-office results. Holland is expected to earn at least another $80 million due to the film’s success.

It should be noted that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse surpassed the $2 billion mark in its third week of release, becoming the eighth highest-grossing film of all time, adjusted for inflation.

Only eight films in history have grossed more than $2 billion. The new Spider-Man film achieved this result, second-fastest after Avengers: Endgame, which was released in 2019.
