US President-elect Donald Trump will appoint Florida Senator Marco Rubio to the post of Secretary of State.
This was announced by Trump himself.
Trump said Marco Rubio is “a highly respected leader and a very powerful voice for freedom,” so he will be “a true friend of our allies and a fearless warrior who will never back down from our enemies.”
Western media report that in recent years, Rubio has changed his views somewhat to align more with Trump’s position.
