White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt will step down at the end of August. US President Donald Trump wrote about this on his social network, Truth Social.
“Karoline Leavitt, our wonderful White House press secretary and one of my closest advisors, is stepping down at the end of the month to spend more time with her young children and family. I understand and respect this decision,” Trump said.
Karoline Leavitt was appointed to the position of White House press secretary immediately after Donald Trump won the US presidential election in 2024. She became the youngest White House press secretary in the history of the United States, taking this position at the age of 27.
