Wedding after 29 years together: Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan officially married

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his long-time companion Anna Hakobyan have officially become husband and wife. The news of the marriage registration came after Hakobyan posted an ambiguous message on her social networks, which initially led many to believe the star couple had broken up.

“Dear compatriots, I want to inform you that the civil marriage between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and me has been dissolved. I ask everyone to be careful and correct in this matter,” wrote Anna Hakobyan.

However, as journalists from Factor TV found out, the loud statement about the “dissolution of the civil marriage” was only a prelude to the official wedding ceremony. According to media reports, the couple, who have lived together for 29 years and raised four children, decided to legally consolidate their union right now, in February 2026.

This event sparked a wave of jokes in the Armenian media. It is worth noting that, until now, the only official document in which Pashinyan and Hakobyan were mentioned as members of the same family was the annual declaration of income and property. Their status has now been confirmed by a state marriage certificate.

As the publication notes, despite the publicity, the couple did not arrange lavish celebrations, limiting themselves to registering and sending an original message to the public.
