The spring of that year proved to be quite eventful for Lionel Richie: he performed at Charles’s coronation in London, while on April 22nd, another significant event took place in the musician’s life—his daughter Sofia got married.
The model and her partner tied the knot exactly a year ago in southern France, on the grounds of the iconic du Cap Eden-Roc hotel in Antibes. The heart of the young lady was captivated by American writer and producer Elliot Grainger, who proposed to her in 2022.
While 7 years ago Sofia was dating Justin Bieber, the groom was finishing his studies at Yale University, where he majored in history and literature. Elliot also earned a master’s degree in film studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
The bride found inspiration in vintage looks from Claudia Schiffer’s autumn show at Chanel Couture in 1993.
