Adidas has launched the Single Shoe initiative, which allows people with amputations or different leg lengths to buy one pair of sneakers at 50% off, the company said in a statement.
The initiative was developed in conjunction with the British Paralympic community and is available in 22 European countries, but not in Ukraine.
Nike has a somewhat similar program. One Shoe Bank operates in the US and allows amputees to make a free shoe request once a year.
You can specify the desired shoe style, color, and size. However, you cannot buy a single sneaker directly in Nike stores.
