Artificial intelligence actress Tilly Norwood will play the lead role in a feature film for the first time. She will be the central character in the film “Discrepancy,” developed by London studio Particle 6, which created the digital actress.
The company said that not only AI specialists will work on the production of the film, but also a traditional film crew – directors, screenwriters, editors, and other representatives of the film industry.
The events unfold in the so-called “Tillyverse” – a surreal digital world that exists “somewhere in the cloud”. The main character is Tilly – an artificial intelligence who does not have a physical body, a childhood, or her own life experience, but has access to the experiences of all other people.
Director Elin van den Velden noted that, despite being a comedy, the film will raise serious issues.
