Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie visited the San Sebastian Film Festival (Spain), where she presented her new film “Couture”. During a conversation with the press, the star frankly admitted that the current political and social atmosphere in the USA causes her concern.
“I consider everything that limits freedom and self-expression to be dangerous. Now I do not recognize my country. My life has always been connected with different cultures, my family is international, and I think globally,” said Jolie.
The actress added that the current times are so difficult that even she has to carefully weigh her own words.
According to Western media, Jolie is seriously considering the possibility of relocating to Europe. She has already begun searching for a buyer for her Los Angeles estate. However, she cannot leave California for now: according to the custody agreement with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, the movie star must stay with her younger children – 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – until they come of age.
The ex-spouses also have older children: Maddox, 24, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, and Shiloh, 19. According to a source from the Daily Mail, Jolie never wanted to live in Los Angeles permanently. After the custody agreement is over, she plans to leave the city.
