The outstanding Spanish actor Antonio Banderas will receive a prestigious lifetime achievement award at the Turin Film Festival in Italy later this month, ANSA reported.
Festival director Giulio Baze announced the decision to award Banderas the award at a meeting in Turin recently.
Banderas himself will become the 12th recipient of the Mole Antonelliana Star. The film award is given to outstanding figures in international cinema who have made a significant contribution to the world of cinema.
The Turin Film Festival runs from November 21 to 29.
