American singer Ariana Grande has officially announced the upcoming release of her eighth studio album titled “Petal,” scheduled for release on July 31, 2026. The record’s executive producers and co-authors include Ariana Grande herself alongside producer Ilya Salmanzadeh (known as Ilya), who has previously collaborated with renowned artists such as Max Martin, Taylor Swift, and Sam Smith, and also co-produced and co-authored Grande’s 2024 album “Eternal Sunshine.”
In the official announcement, Ariana Grande described “Petal” as “something filled with life, sprouting through the cracks of something cold, hard, and challenging.” The release has been highly anticipated, as evidenced by numerous social media posts from the singer’s recording studio sessions. Additionally, Ariana Grande has announced a summer tour starting in June 2026. The announcement comes amidst a busy professional period for the artist, involving her work on the musical film “Wicked” and its sequel, as well as the release of her album “Eternal Sunshine” and its extended edition in 2025.
In previous public comments, the singer noted that the forthcoming tour might be her last for some time, as her future career path could differ significantly from the previous decade. Notably, Ariana Grande recently became the official face of the Swarovski jewelry brand.
