Ariana Grande takes a break from her career

American singer Ariana Grande has announced a time-out in her career after the end of her Eternal Sunshine world tour. According to People, the artist wants to take a break because she is tired of excessive attention to her appearance and endless discussions about her health on the Internet.

The final concert of the tour will take place on September 1. After that, the 33-year-old singer plans to abandon new projects, completely withdraw from public appearances, and focus on rest for a while.

The artist’s team emphasizes that although the Eternal Sunshine tour has become a special experience for her, recently the publicity has increasingly exhausted her due to endless comments about her appearance.

For the sake of rest, Grande even refused to participate in the musical Sunday in the Park with George. The production was scheduled to be presented next summer at London’s Barbican, and the singer’s partner on stage was to be her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.

Grande herself has repeatedly called for a stop to discussing other people’s appearance. Back during the promotional campaign for the film Wicked: Forever, she said that such comments can hurt, especially when a person is constantly under the spotlight.
