Beyoncé submits her album Cowboy Carter for a Grammy Award

Beyoncé seems to be preparing for a grand confrontation at the upcoming Grammy Awards. The singer’s album Cowboy Carter, presented in March this year, will compete for a statuette in the country category. The star has won 32 awards in 88 nominations in her career and has never been nominated in the country category.

Currently, her likely competitors include Post Malone, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, and Moroney. Prior to that, Beyoncé mostly submitted her albums in R&B and pop styles.

Cowboy Carter’s Grammy nomination comes after Beyoncé did not receive any nominations from the CMA Awards or win among 12 nominations at the People’s Choice Country Awards last week.
