After a nearly two-year legal battle, actress Blake Lively and director Justin Baldoni have reached a settlement. According to a joint statement, both parties have officially confirmed reconciliation. The details of the agreement remain confidential; however, it is known that Lively has withdrawn all lawsuits against Baldoni’s production company and has renounced any material claims against him.
The conflict arose in the context of their work on the film ‘Leave If You Love,’ in which Lively played the lead role, and Baldoni served as director and co-producer. The actress accused the director of sexual harassment, creating a toxic work environment, and orchestrating a defamatory campaign. The litigation lasted over 1.5 years, and most of Lively’s claims were dismissed by a federal judge in New York in April 2026.
The resolution was reached just before the federal court trial began. The joint statement emphasized that, despite the challenges, the project is significant to the team and aims to raise awareness of domestic violence. It also acknowledged that Lively’s grievances merit consideration.
