The hearing in the case of actress Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, director of the movie It Ends With Us, is scheduled for 2026. While the lawsuit is ongoing, Ryan Reynolds’ wife is presenting her new film.
Blake Lively shared on her blog the trailer for “Another Simple Favor,” a sequel to the 2018 thriller “A Simple Favor.” Although the announcement was made last week, Lively shared it with her millions of followers only the other day.
“It all started with a simple favor… ‘Another Simple Favor’ will be released on Prime Video on May 1,” Blake captioned the post.
According to Variety, the film’s main characters, Stephanie (played by Anna Kendrick) and Emily (Blake Lively), travel to the beautiful island of Capri in Italy for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman.
Fans are convinced that the premiere will overshadow the ongoing litigation between Blake and Justin Baldoni. In a lawsuit filed in December, Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her, while Baldoni accused Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloan of defamation and extortion in return.
Both sides have denied each other’s accusations. Baldoni’s team has also created a website that features personal messages and court documents detailing his interactions with the influential Hollywood couple over the creation of the romantic drama.
