Women automotive journalists from 55 countries tested 81 cars and determined the best car of 2025. The winner was the Hyundai Santa Fe crossover. This was reported on the YouTube page of Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY).
Other winners in individual nominations include:
- Best city car – MINI Copper;
- Best compact SUV – Kia EV3;
- Best large car – Audi A6 e-tron;
- Best large SUV – Hyundai Santa Fe;
- Best all-wheel drive car/pickup – Toyota Land Cruiser Prado;
- Best performance and luxury car – Porsche Panamera.
The women’s jury awarded BYD the award in the Best Technology category. At the same time, Volvo was recognized as the most female-friendly brand.
This is the 15th award ceremony held by WWCOTY, an organization of 82 female automotive journalists from 55 countries on five continents.
