Princess Mafalda of Bulgaria is divorcing her husband, British financier Mark Abusleman, according to Tatler. The couple has been together for two years.
According to journalists, Abusleiman himself filed a petition for divorce with the New York Supreme Court on May 15. Presumably, the reason for the separation was the rhythm of life for both of us. The princess lives in Madrid and is building a music career, performing under the pseudonym Ona Mafalda. Abusleiman works in New York as the vice president of a prominent investment company.
Princess Mafalda and Mark Abusleiman met in their teens while studying at a lyceum in London. The couple lived in Boston, and in 2022, they had a lavish wedding in Mallorca. The event was attended by the bride’s influential relatives and representatives of the royal families of other European countries, including Greek princesses Maria Olympia and Alexia.
As a reminder, Mafalda is the daughter of Bulgarian monarch Kirill, Prince Preslavski, and former muse of designer Valentino, model Rosario Nadal.
