Netflix has released the debut trailer for the comedy action film Back in Business, starring Cameron Diaz. This is the first major project of the Hollywood actress in almost 11 years.
The 52-year-old star took an extended career break to devote time to starting a family, giving birth, and raising children. She also launched the production of the natural wine Avaline.
Diaz’s co-star is Jamie Foxx. In the story, Cameron and Jamie play former CIA agents Matt and Emily, who left the service to start a family but are forced to suddenly return to espionage when they are almost exposed.
The film is directed by Seth Gordon, known for his work on the “Omedy Horrible “losses. The cast includes Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, and others.
The film’s premiere on the streaming service is scheduled for January 17, 2025.
