The 30th annual Critics Choice Awards ceremony, presented by the Television Critics Association for achievements in cinema, took place in Los Angeles on February 7, according to the New York Times.
Wicked: The Conjuring, The Substance, and Emilia Perez received the most awards this year. They won three statuettes in different nominations at once.
The best film was recognized as the American comedy-drama Anora. The story follows a young stripper living in Brighton Beach who starts an affair with the son of a Russian oligarch. Actors Mikey Madison and Mark Eidelstein played the lead roles.
Adrien Brody won Best Actor for his role in The Brutalist. Demi Moore continued her success after the Golden Globes and again won the Best Actress award for the movie Substance.
In the main television categories, the Shogun and Sophisticated won.
