The opening ceremony of a new stadium for David Beckham’s football club, Inter Miami, took place in the United States. The construction of the stadium was one of the largest investment projects in the career of the ex-footballer – about $750 million, reports the Daily Mail.
The new arena, named Nu Stadium, became the club’s home stadium. For the opening, 50-year-old Beckham flew to Miami with his wife, Victoria. Their children – Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – also did not miss the event.
The opening was celebrated with a symbolic match. Inter Miami drew 2:2 with Austin. And a special gift for those present was a performance by singer Marc Anthony.
