British pop star Dua Lipa is to curate one of Europe’s most important book festivals. In autumn 2026, the singer will host the London Literary Festival, running from 21 October to 1 November and part of the UK’s National Year of Reading. Dua will be responsible for the program, including the festival’s first weekend, The Guardian reports.
The 30-year-old singer will also be in person at the festival, hosting a series of talks, discussions, and presentations at the Royal Festival Hall on 24 and 25 October. Dua is expected to introduce both established and emerging authors. He will also join the conversation about the role of reading in today’s world.

According to the organizers, Lipa is best suited to the role of curator of the festival, because over the past few years the star has been actively developing her Service95 book club: every month she chooses a new book, records podcasts with authors, and promotes reading among her multi-million-audience.
The full festival program is promised to be announced in the summer.
