Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI will release a new version of its chatbot Grok 3 on Monday, February 17. He wrote about it in X.
Elon Musk called Grok 3 “the smartest artificial intelligence on Earth.” During a videoconference at the World Government Summit in Dubai, he claimed that this AI model will “outperform all competitors” today.
According to Musk, the model has been trained on synthetic data and can analyze its own mistakes by looking back and forth at the data to achieve logical consistency.
By the way, the word Grok was coined by science fiction writer Robert A. Heinlein in 1961. It appears in his novel Stranger in a Strange Land. This term is used in technical circles to indicate a deep understanding.
