According to Forbes, Elon Musk has become the first person in history to reach $600 billion. This is $425 billion more than Google co-founder Larry Page, whose fortune is estimated at $252 billion. Reaching this level is truly unique – no one has ever managed to even come close to the $500 billion mark before.
The key factor in the rapid growth of capital was SpaceX’s sharp increase in value. After concluding a profitable deal with investors, the company was valued at $800 billion – up from $400 billion in August. Musk owns about 42% of SpaceX, which has significantly affected his personal fortune.
In the future, SpaceX plans to go public – the IPO could take place as early as 2026. This is expected to further boost the company’s capitalization, which is currently Musk’s most valuable asset.
An additional contribution to the growth of the entrepreneur’s fortune came from his approximately 12% stake in Tesla. Despite the decline in sales, the electric car manufacturer’s shares have risen by 13% since the beginning of the year.
In addition, according to media reports, Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI is in active negotiations to raise $15 billion at a valuation of $230 billion.
